Desperate Men are thirty years old in 2010! Founded in 1980, we are now one of the UK’s longest running outdoor arts companies.

To mark this milestone we’ll be holding The Festival of Desperation in Bristol from October 15th to 17th, celebrating all things Desperate! The Festival of Desperation will include events, installations and an exhibition, as well as ‘Acts of Desperation (Bristol)’, a programme for new and emerging outdoor artists.

We’ll also be creating Acts Of Desperation (National) a series of performances and presentations from invited national and international artists around the themes of desperation. We would like to thank the Arts Council as well as Bristol City Council Single Project Fund for funding this project.
