Desperate Men are currently working on a number of large projects for 2010 and beyond, including ‘the Quest’ creating a cultural celebration across the South West for the Cultural Olympiad in 2012, with our project partners Cirque Bijou. We will also celebrate Desperate Men’s 30th birthday with a Festival of Desperation in October 2010.

Following the success of Darwin and the Dodo, we continue our focus on science with Everything Gets Eaten, for the International Year of Biodiversity in 2010. We also continue to work with Creative Partnerships and other educational organisations on a regular basis.

In 2009 our major projects were Severn Mudlarks, part of the Severn Project in Gloucestershire, and the Pearl Farm – an intercultural project working with artists from different cultures.
